Developer Insomniac Games has confirmed that Laura Bailey has been cast as Mary Jane in the upcoming Spider-Man game on PlayStation 4. That's the female character, not Marijuana.
Bailey should be familiar to most gamers nowadays, having appeared in a number of major titles in recent years, including Gears of War 4, Halo 5: Guardians, Injustice 2, Resident Evil 6, and Uncharted 4: A Thief's End.
It’s been great to finally be able to reveal more of the #SpiderManPS4 cast. And as many of guessed awhile back, I can finally say that @LauraBaileyVO is our MJ. Laura is one of the most talented people I’ve ever worked with, period. Just don’t tell her I said that.

MJ's a staple of the Spider-Man universe, and has been portrayed by a number of actresses over the years, probably most famously by Kirsten Dunst.
You know, she did that whole snogging-Toby Maguire-while-he-was-hanging-upside-down-in-the-rain thing from 2002's Spider-Man.
Spider-Man is swinging into stores on September 7, and Sony's really going to town in promoting the game. In addition to a rather juicy-looking Collector's Edition, the format holder is also offering up a bunch of different hardware bundles, including a delicious 'Amazing Red' PS4 Pro deal.
