With a unique mix of uncompromising action and riveting gameplay, the Bitmap Brothers developed Speedball 2 set the bar for the futuristic sports game when released on the Amiga back in 1991.

It’s been announced that the multi-million selling title is now being remade for release on the PC later this year. Using state of the art technology Speedball 2 is to be transformed into a high-speed online sports game, offering international leagues, rankings and a virtual marketplace.

The no-holds-barred futuristic sports title will once again be in the hands of the Bitmap Brothers and is currently scheduled for release in Q3 2007.
