Bandai Namco Games has released Soulcalibur VI update 1.30 for PlayStation 4, PC, and Xbox One, and it's a pretty significant patch, tackling numerous areas for the fighter including the battle system, stages, and character balance.

For the battle system, Project Soul has increased the amount of guard stamina used for executing Reversal edges and guard impacts, affording 'more opportunities to crush an opponent's guard when they make frequent use of reversal edges and guard impacts.'

In addition, stages have also been tweaked, which reduces the frequency of ring outs, while the developer has also increased the size of two stages. Meanwhile, Soulcalibur VI's latest update also implements some key character behavioral adjustments.

Finally, Bamco confirmed that it is working on a fix for some of the camera issues, notably a problem where the view zooms out to detect a possible ring out, which makes it difficult to spot some moves.

The patch notes are pretty extensive, so be sure to have a gander at them here.

Soulcalibur VI was released on PS4, PC, and Xbox One in October last year. The latest DLC character, Amy, is out today.
