A Sony warehouse in Enfield has been torched during the London riots, which could affect UK deliveries of Blu-rays, DVDs and CDs, Sony has said.
The DADC centre in Enfield was torched and looted by rioters last night. The warehouse is used to press and package discs before they’re sent off to other warehouses around the country.
“There will likely be some impact on deliveries,” Yoko Yasukochi, a Sony spokesperson told Reuters.
“We cannot determine the cause of the fire or the extent of the damage yet because it’s not possible to enter the building.”
It’s not believed that the firm’s PlayStation business has been affected.
