Sony will live stream its E3 2012 press conference, the platform holder has announced.

An E3 2012 website with a countdown clock has been published, confirming the event will kick off on June 4, 6pm PT, which means a 2am start on Tuesday, June 5 for those watching from the UK.

It’s the end to what is sure to be an exciting, but long day for game fans. The E3 conferences begin at 6pm on Monday, June 4 with Microsoft (also live streamed via Xbox LIVE), followed by Ubisoft at 11pm, then Sony into the early hours.

Nintendo’s big Wii U reveal is set for the following day at 5pm in the UK, though is yet to reveal plans to live stream.

VideoGamer.com will of course be over in LA to bring you everything as it happens, but we’re also planning something a little different regarding our coverage of the conferences. Be sure to check back soon for full details.
