Sony has announced that it’ll host a media showcase at Paris Games Week 2017 on October 30 at 4pm BST. This will be the first time Sony has held a press conference at Paris Games Week since 2015, though it usually does have a presence there in some form. Sony generally doesn’t make any big announcements at Gamescom, instead choosing to focus on Paris Games Week and it’s own PlayStation Experience events.

Even though Sony did not make a conference appearance last year, there were 40 playable demos across 300 booths at the event. Paris Games Week 2016 was also the host of the PlayStation Plus League esports tournaments.

So what can we look forward to seeing at Paris Games Week 2017? Horizon: Frozen Wilds comes out in November, so this will probably be shown alongside some other PlayStation exclusive titles possibly the likes of Spider-Man, God of War, Days Gone and Detroit: Being Human. The showcase will be livestreamed, so you’ll be able to check out what PlayStation has up its sleeve for 2017 and 2018.

Paris Games Week 2017 will start officially from November 1-5 at the Porte de Versailles
