Firmware 2.70 was only released in April, and 2.71 seems to be more about fixing some issues than adding much in the way of new features. There are only really two changes to talk about. 2.71 now makes it possible to download PSP game demos from the handheld’s web browser and save the file directly onto a memory stick. The other update fixes some problems with the display of video from the LocationFree Player.
