Sony Pictures is to release 19 UMD movies for the September 1st 2005 UK launch of the Sony PSP. There will be a diverse range of films available including comedy, action and horror. One film not available at launch will be Spiderman 2 which will be free to early buyers of the PSP. To get your free copy of the film you just have to register your system on yourpsp.com.
The Sony PSP will launch as a Value Pack for £179 on September 1st. The PSP Value Pack contains an added-value package of accessories and entertainment content, including the PSP system with a pouch, 32MB Memory Stick Duo, Battery Pack, Headphones with Remote Control, AC Adaptor, Wrist Strap, cloth and a video/music/game Demo Disc including several non-interactive game demos.
