This month’s games for PlayStation Plus members are the Wipeout Omega Collection and Sniper Elite 4.

Combat racer Wipeout Omega Collection – which includes Wipeout HD, Wipeout HD Fury and Wipeout 2048 – has 26 reversible circuits for you and friends to speed around, either on local or online modes. VR support was introduced in the Omega Collection, so if you’re made of stronger stuff than me, you can don the PSVR headset and zoom around all the anti-gravity tracks at virtually breakneck speeds.

The second game on offer is Rebellion Development’s latest Nazi-stalking-and-sniping simulator, Sniper Elite 4. The game boasts deeply involved mechanics for a mathematically perfect elimination, plus the infamously explicit X-Ray kill cam. While Sniper Elite 4 delivers an extensive campaign mode for those who want to play solo or with friends in co-op, you can also hop on the multiplayer mode and test your skills against 11 other players all vying for the best grisly takedown.

Together, these games tot up to almost £78, which is not to be sniffed at if you enjoy multiplayer racing or multiplayer sniping.

Detroit Become Human Digital Deluxe Edition and Horizon Chase Turbo can still be snagged until August 6.
