Jumpship is the new UK-based studio co-founded by former CEO of Danish developer Playdead, Dino Patti. Somerville will be the debut effort from the developer, which you can see a little bit of in the teaser trailer, below.

On the official website, the tag line ‘In neon sky our kin are lost, till future has returned to dust,’ reveals just about as much about the game as the abstract video that shows what appears to be a farmhouse, a massive shed, and futuristic style towers in the background.

Patti, Somerville’s executive producer, described the game as a ‘sci-fi action adventure that chronicles the lives of key individuals in the wake of global catastrophe,’ to The Verge. Cheery.
