Super Smash Bros. for Wii U will feature two exclusive solo game modes, a picture of the game’s menu screen posted by director Masahiro Sakurai has revealed.

The picture features part of each game mode’s name blurred out. One mode is called something starting with “Master”, while the other mode’s title ends with “Crazy”.

“Now, what mode is this…?!” teased Sakurai.

Up until now it had been thought the Wii U game would not feature a solo game mode.

Super Smash Bros. for Wii U launches December 5 in Europe, but will have to perform amazingly well to outsell the 3DS version which is fast-approaching three million units worldwide.
