First-person horror Slender: The Arrival will release as a downloadable title on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 this spring, publisher Midnight City has announced.

As well as a “smooth layer of polish”, the console release features two brand new ‘Flashback’ levels that will unlock once the core game has been completed, and that are said to put players in the boots of Slender Man’s victims.

The content will also be released as a free update to the standalone PC and Steam versions following the game’s console launch.

Slender: The Arrival first launched on PC last March and sees players investigating abandoned areas while being pursued by a mysterious figure.

A price for the console release has yet to be announced.
