If the one thing stopping you from getting excited about United Front Games’ Sleeping Dogs was the lack of a Just Cause 2 protagonist Rico Rodriguez outfit for Wei Shen, then you can now officially get yourself excited.
Provided you already have a Just Cause 2 save file, that is. Sleeping Dogs will detect Just Cause 2 saves on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC and plop Rico Rodriguez’s signature threads in your safehouse wardrobe if it detects one.
Actually donning the suit gives you a boost to your Action Hijack ability in Sleeping Dogs, making it easier to jack cars with your flash moves from a distance.
You will not get a grappling hook and the ability to flatten an entire city with little more than a pistol and a cough, however.
Sleeping Dogs is due to be released for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC on August 17.
