Bethesda Game Studios, the team behind The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim and Fallout 3, is seeking talent to work on a new game for next generation consoles, a job listing has revealed.

The listing – found on a recruitment website, stated the studio is “looking for experienced programmers to work on cutting-edge technology for an unannounced game on future-generation consoles.”

Preferred skills include working with DirectX 11, which could indicate the kind of visual standard expected on the next round of home console hardware.

Bethesda is sure to return to Fallout and The Elder Scrolls, but which will come first to the next generation. The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion hit this generation first, followed by Fallout, and the same release pattern could follow for future consoles.

We wouldn’t rule out another numbered entry in the Fallout series arriving on the current platforms, either.
