Sony Computer Entertainment Europe has announced that SingStar ’80s will be hitting the PlayStation 2 later this year, and they claim it will be the “definitive nostalgic music experience.”

The game will come with 30 classic tunes from the 80s along with the music videos that appeared at the start of the MTV revolution. With tunes that topped the charts all over the world there should be something for everyone – apart from those who can’t stand the SingStar series.

The full track listing is yet to be revealed, but Sony has released the names of some of the songs that will appear in the game.

  • Culture Club: Karma Chameleon
  • Dexy’s Midnight Runners: Come On Eileen
  • Vanilla Ice: Ice Ice Baby
  • Belinda Carlisle: Heaven is a Place on Earth
  • Simple Minds: Don’t You (Forget About Me)
  • The Cure: Just Like Heaven
  • Nena: 99 Red Balloons
