New Sin Episodes details have emerged from an interview by the Sin fan site Ritualistic. One issue worrying fans was the expected price for each episode. In the interview it has been revealed that the first release will come in multiple packages, but “the basic package will definitely be well below 19.99 though.” This sounds similar to the multiple Half-Life 2 versions available from Steam.

Those who don’t want to buy every episode need not worry as each episode will “feature a self-contained story in addition to contributing to the overall story arc.” This seems like a good idea so not to alienate new users, but also making people want the next episode for the continuing story.

Those people who must have their games in a box on a shelf, rather than just a bunch of files on their hard disc will be pleased to hear that there are ongoing discussions with retailers to get a boxed version on shelves, which is likely to contain multiple episodes per pack.

The first part of Sin Episodes is said to be arriving in late autumn this year. Be sure to read the full interview for more details.
