Silent Hill: Book of Memories, the PS Vita exclusive entry in the survival horror series, has been given a November 2 release date in Europe. Developed by WayForward, the game introduces multiplayer elements for the first time, and sees players working together in the titular town.

Action is viewed from a top-down perspective, with gameplay centred on action, exploration, and sharing items with fellow players. Book of Memories will be available at retail or via the PlayStation Store as as digital download.

A demo for Book of Memories is available on the PlayStation Store, giving players a taste of the first two zones from the full game, as well as two characters.
