Elder Scrolls fans, your time is now. Bethesda has announced that an official beta test for The Elder Scrolls Online is due to commence at some point this year, and you can register to be a part of it by heading over to the game’s official website.
Simply head over to ElderScrollsOnline.com and register for your chance to get in on the beta, although be warned: places are limited, so registering your interest doesn’t guarantee you a slot.
“We’re really excited to get the game into players’ hands,” said game director Matt Firor. “We receive invaluable feedback through the beta process, and that helps us ensure that the game will be one of the best online gaming experiences ever offered — one worthy of The Elder Scrolls franchise.”
A date for the beta test has yet to be announced, but details will be provided to successful registrants at a later date.
To coincide with the announcement, Bethesda also released a new (and lengthy) cinematic trailer for the game. Have a gander at it below.
The Elder Scrolls Online launches on PC later this year.
