Activision looks set to resurrect the Sierra brand at Gamescom next week.
A new site for the label, which vanished when Activision merged with Blizzard in 2008, was pushed live last night along with a new teaser video of an adventurer approaching a mountain – a throwback to the publisher’s original logo.
Activision says that there’s “More to be revealed at Gamescom 2014”.
Sierra was responsible for multiple adventure series, including Kings Quest, Leisure Suit Larry and Quest For Glory, and cult classic shooter No One Lives Forever.
It also published the original Half-Life and released titles in the Crash Bandicoot, Spyro The Dragon and Scarface franchises thanks to its partnership with Vivendi.
Gamescom opens its doors next Wednesday, August 13.
