Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion players will soon be able to explore an all-new realm with the imminent release of the Shivering Isles. Pete Hines, Bethesda Softworks V.P. of Public Relations and Marketing has revealed that the expansion will be released for Xbox 360 and PC on March 27.

The expansion is going to cost a considerable amount though, with Hines revealing that the Xbox 360 version will be available on Xbox Live Marketplace for 2400 Microsoft Points. The PC game will retail for £19.99/$29.99.

It’s certainly the most expensive download to be released so far on Xbox Live Marketplace, but players are getting a fully realised expansion. For more on the game head over to Pro-G TV where you’ll find a newly released trailer.
