Shadow Warrior will release on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One this September, Devolver Digital has announced. The game was previously expected to release this summer.
The game will be available both digitally and at retail, with Majesco picking up the distribution rights to roll it out across stores. The retail version will cost $39.99 in North America with a UK price yet to be confirmed.
It’s previously been reported that the PS4 version will run at full 1080p with the Xbox One version coming in at 900p. Both versions will run at 60fps.
Shadow Warrior originally launched on PC last year, and while our reviewer praised it for being “pure throwback FPS fun”, he wasn’t so taken by the game’s ambition-stifling “adherence to early genre staples”.
