UPDATE: Shadow Warrior 2 is coming to PS4, Xbox One and PC in 2016 “or whenever Lo Wang damn well pleases”, Devolver has announced.

The new game includes support for 4-player co-op and promises to “improve every element that made the original so unique”.

Further details will be revealed at E3 next week, with the first look at gameplay due to be shown live on Twitch at 8:30pm BST next Monday, June 15.

Until then, though, take a look at the first trailer or head through here for the first screens.

ORIGINAL STORY: Shadow Warrior 2 is in development, an update on the game’s website has teased.

The site was updated last night to include an image of a dragon shaped in a number two and a short black & white teaser video.

Since then, of course, the original full colour version of the video has made its way to YouTube, which you can take a look at below.

The game’s Facebook page also teased an imminent reveal, asking fans “who wants some more Wang?”

The original Shadow Warrior launched on PC back in 2013 and saw players fighting off demons as mercenary Lo Wang. A PS4 and Xbox One port released last year.
