Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor’s first story-based DLC is due to release on PS4, Xbox One and PC later today, Warner Bros. has announced.

The Lord of the Hunt expansion pack sees Talion teaming up with Torvin the Dwarven Hunter to tame the beasts of Mordor, including the new toxin-spitting Wretched Gaug and predatory Caragath.

You’ll also face off against the Beastmaster Warchiefs, powerful new Uruks that are able to ride creatures and engage in mounted combat. Five new epic runes, collectibles Beast Hunting challenges and a Lord of the Hunt skin are thrown in as well.

Warner Bros. claims that the DLC “adds hours of new gameplay”.

Lord of the Hunt will be available at no additional cost to Season Pass owners, although a standalone price has yet to be confirmed. The DLC has not been announced for the Xbox 360 or PS3 versions.
