Project Needlemouse is a stupid name for a Sonic The Hedgehog game, but until SEGA reveals the real name for its next Sonic game, that’s what we’re going to have to keep calling it. Hopefully, we’ll only have to keep doing so until Monday, providing Sonic fans do what SEGA wants.

According to a post on the SEGA America blog, the publisher will announce the real name of its in-development Sonic game on Monday, as long as readers send in more than 100 pieces of Sonic art.

From the blog:

“The Challenge: Submit over 100 (total) pieces of Concept Art of your favorite oldschool Badniks to SEGA! Show us which enemies you want to see in Project Needlemouse!

The Reward: If the challenge is met, next week we’ll reveal:

– Project Needlemouse’s Actual Name

– Concept Art from the first Zone

– A very cool extra bonus…”

All you need to do is post your art in the comments on the blog post and hope other people do the same.
