SEGA has announced release dates for the previously announced SEGA Mega Drive Classic coming to PSN.
The games were announced as free titles for PS Plus members, but they’ll also be made available for regular PSN account holders.
Sonic the Hedgehog, Sonic the Hedgehog 2, Streets of Rage 2, Golden Axe 2, Altered Beast and Comix Zone will all be online enabled. Each will sport leaderboards and trophies, while Sonic 2, Streets of Rage 2, Altered Beast and Golden Axe II will also feature online co-op play.
Release schedule:
Sonic 2 – free for PS Plus users on April 6, released onto PS Store on April 20
Streets of Rage 2 – free for Plus users on May 4, released onto PS Store on May 18
Golden Axe 2 – free for Plus users on June 1, released onto PS Store on June 15.
Each game will be priced £3.19 for non PS Plus members. Sonic the Hedgehog is out now, while release dates for Altered Beast and Comix Zone are to be announced.
