According to Sega’s Road to 2020 presentation that was part of the company’s latest fiscal report (via Gematsu), it’s looking to revive some of its past IPs.

While some of the highlights from the Power Point slides include ‘Create titles that will become global hits,’ it was noted that Sega is looking to bring new IPs to market, as well as look at the ‘revival of major IPs.’

While they may not have the same cache as Nintendo’s slate, Sega has a ridiculous amount of titles to pull from if they wanted to: Golden Axe, Jet Set Radio, NiGHTS, Ecco the Dolphin, Toejam & Earl, Chu Chu Rocket, Streets of Rage. It’ll be interesting, going forward, to see what Sega looks to revive. And what they consider to be ‘major.’

As well as that, Sega announced that both Persona 5 and Total War: Warhammer have done well in terms of sales, with total unit numbers up to 10.28 million.
