A second wave of codes granting players access to the LittleBigPlanet Vita beta are being sent out to lucky applicants today, according to reports from across various games forums.

Codes started going out to applicants last night, according to industry forum NeoGAF. The first wave of codes were dispatched late last month.

But if you haven’t already registered for the beta, it looks as if you may have missed out.

Sony says it has been “absolutely overwhelmed by the number of applications [it] got for the LittleBigPlanet on PS Vita online beta.

“Unfortunately, because we already have so many applications we will have to take the registration sites offline tonight.

“It’s been truly amazing to get such a positive response from you all and we would like to thank you very much for your interest.”

The beta offers lucky players “an exclusive sneak peek at Sackboy’s most thrilling adventure yet”.

LittleBigPlanet is due for release on PlayStation Vita later this year.
