Sea of Thieves update 1.3.2 is now available to download, offering up a new Bilge Rat Adventure in the shape of the Halloween-themed Festival of the Damned.

The latest bite-sized event for Rare's nautical adventure is a bit depressing, as it's focused on death. For starters, the Ferry of the Damned now contains a new Well of Fates, which changes the colour of its flame depending on how your character kicked the bucket.

You then grab the flame for yourself, take it back to the land of the living, and then use it to light beacons that are hidden across the game world. In addition, these flames can be used to switch up the lantern hues on your ship, giving you a more personalised pirating experience. It also just looks pretty damn cool, too.

Elsewhere, you can hoover up doubloons by polishing off new Commendation challenges, which are then used to various Festival of the Damned-themed items, such as a ship sail, skull lantern, and various face paints.

The new 'Legend of the Damned' title is also up for grabs by finishing the Commendations associated with Festival of the Damned.

Rare has also dished out a bunch of performance updates and bug fixes, so have a butcher's at the full patch notes for more info.
