McGinley, best known for his portrayal of Dr. Cox in the Emmy-nominated Scrubs, will voice the main character in Dead Head Fred, an original game featuring dark humour and a violent tale of revenge and redemption.
Fred Neuman, a private detective, is violently murdered and then resurrected in a scientific experiment without his memory or his head.
“We are thrilled to work with Mr. McGinley on Dead Head Fred,” said Eric Peterson, president, Vicious Cycle Software. “His personality and vocal style perfectly compliment the character of Fred Neuman; his talent will only further immerse players into Fred’s exhilarating adventures.“
Dead Head Fred is scheduled for release for PSP in North America on August 21, 2007. The game is currently without a European release date.
