Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment has announced that Scribblenauts Showdown, a new game in the Scribblenauts series, will bring more creative puzzle solving antics to PS4, Xbox One, and Switch on March 9. This latest entry brings a wealth of new features, including fresh social elements and family friendly action.Â
The main focus here is the titular Showdown Mode, which allows up to four players to use their noggins to cobble together inventive and creative ways to secure victory via card-based strategy. Meanwhile, you’ll use Scribblenauts’ 30,000-strong word library to outsmart your opponents in Wordy mini-games, while the Speedy mini-games see you competing for victory as quickly as possible.
Elsewhere, Scribblenauts Showdown also offers a Versus Mode where two players can square off against each other from an extensive lineup of 25+ mini-games. If you’re more of a Billy No Mates on the other hand, then you can plump for the same offering in single-player environment.Â

Rounding things off is a sandbox mode where gamers can channel their creative talent to complete various objectives across eight new stages, earning new achievements and Starites in the process.
