Scribblenauts developer 5th Cell is taking a break from handheld game development, choosing to focus its attention on consoles instead.
Speaking to Gamasutra, co-founder Jeremiah Slaczka said: “This year, we’re actually done with handheld for original titles. We’re not going to spend our stuff on new original titles. We’ll put that onto consoles.”
Slaczka confirmed that the next game is a title for Xbox LIVE Arcade. “… it’s going to be pretty big. It’s going to be really cool. We’re very excited about it. It’ll be cool,” he said.
The project is unannounced and according to Slaczka is “far away” from being unveiled.
