Sony Online Entertainment has confirmed a promotional subscription rate for its newly launched PC and PS3 MMO, DC Universe Online, giving European gamers the chance to secure a reduced price.
Take out a 90-day subscription between now and March 1, 2011 and you’ll lock in a promotional rate of £19.99 – a 25 per cent saving over the usual £27.99 price. This lower rate will be kept for the remainder of your subscription.

After a promising launch, it would appear SOE is pushing hard to ensure early adopters stick around beyond the initial 30 days period included with new purchases.
A reduced rate does suggest subscriptions aren’t as high as the publisher would have wanted, but it’s good to see action being taken early while there remains some interest in the game.
