Saints Row 4 holds on to the UK Video Game Chart No.1 spot for a fourth consecutive week, achieving the maximum of what publisher Deep Silver could have hoped for prior to the launch of GTA 5 tomorrow.
Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 Remix is new at No.2, which represents a huge improvement over the PS2 original which charted at No.35 back in 2002.
Diablo 3 holds at No.3 for a second week despite a 50 per cent drop off in sales, followed by Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell: Blacklist at No.4 and Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition at No.5.
SEGA’s Rome: Total War 2 slides eight places to No.10 after an 87 per cent drop in sales, followed by NHL 14 which is new at No.11.
Elsewhere MGS: The Legacy Collection is new at No.24, with Sony’s Puppeteer unable to pull any strings and struggling into the chart at No.40.

GTA 5 will be No.1 next week, and its release also means you can expect to see all the other games – bar the likes of Disney Infinity – to drop considerably.
PES 2014 is also hitting stores this week, albeit on Friday, but we can’t help but feel Konami has messed up somewhat with its release timing on this. Not only is the game arriving the same week at GTA 5, but it’s only a week to wait for FIFA 14. The game should chart at No.2, but a healthy sales tail may be difficult to maintain.
