cdv Software Entertainment and Ascaron Entertainment have announced the release of a single-player PC demo of upcoming action-RPG Sacred 2: Fallen Angel.

The demo gives players the chance to enter the world of Ancaria and experience a small sample of what will be on offer in the full game. Take control of the deadly Seraphim, a powerful guardian of the world and its T-Energy, and explore the lands of the High Elves – one of twelve regions that will be available in the full game.

Players will have the opportunity to play through several quests in the Light campaign and will encounter mythical beasts along the way – the full game features parallel Light and Shadow campaigns offering hundreds of hours of gameplay and over 500 quests. In the demo players will be able to level up the Seraphim and customise her combat arts. The demo is restricted to a level 10 cap while the full title will allow levelling to over 200.

You’ll find the demo over on Gamershell.com.

The PC Collector’s Edition of Sacred 2: Fallen Angel is currently slated for release later this year. PS3 and Xbox 360 versions will follow in early 2009.
