Ascaron and Deep Silver have announced the Q1 2009 release date for Sacred 2 – Fallen Angel on Xbox 360 and PS3, citing online optimisations for the delay.
“We have committed ourselves to offering gamers nothing but top quality. In order to be able to further optimize the online components of the console versions, and ensure a simultaneous release world-wide, we have chosen to aim for this release date for the console versions,” says Heiko tom Felde, CEO of Ascaron.
In Sacred 2 players will gradually discover a huge, freely explorable world as they embark on an epic adventure which can be experienced in two completely different ways – light and shadow campaigns.
Sacred 2 – Fallen Angel will release later this year on PC, with PS3 and Xbox 360 versions to follow in Q1 2009.
