According to fan site Oblivion-Lost.com, the already massively delayed FPS has now been pushed back to a 2006 release. No reason has been given for the delay, but Anton Bolshakov, deputy dorector of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. has said:

“When the plot is fully implemented (it is being completed), the simulation will be finally tuned. This is what the team is doing right now. The game will certainly not come out this year. Look for the beginning of the wide advertising campaign, as it will mean half a year until the release.“

THQ haven’t commented on news of a further delay, but expect to hear something official pretty soon as the game was tentatively pencilled in for a September 2005 release.
