The game has looked to have potential ever since it was first revealed, which seems to have been years ago. We played the game at last year’s Game Stars Live show in London and it was shaping up well then, but has since seen delay after delay.

Keen to give the game the development time it needs and quite possibly to avoid clashing with other big name games this Christmas, THQ will now release the game sometime in their 2007 fiscal year, starting April 1st 2006.

We think that’s going to be a ground breaking title when we launch it and we want to make sure there’s enough time in the oven for it,” said THQ president and CEO Brian Farrell. “We want to make sure it has the absolute highest possible game quality.”

Hopefully the game will be everything we want it to be when it is released in 2006.
