EA Sports Rory McIlroy PGA Tour will still feature a range of fantasy courses, an EA representative has clarified to VideoGamer.com – including Battlefield 4’s Paracel Storm map.

Confirmation follows some confusion over whether the courses would still be included following the game’s re-reveal earlier this evening, with new screenshots and trailers appearing to show a more traditional approach to golf than previously expected.

But the crazy courses will still be in there, EA assures us, with more details set to be revealed as we get closer to the game’s release.

PGA Tour’s fantasy courses were first teased at last year’s E3, with the game’s initial trailer showing the player teeing off on one of Battlefield’s multiplayer maps, following the ball as it lands nearby a destroyed battleship.

Rory McIlroy PGA Tour launches on PS4 and Xbox One in June.
