As well as the announcement here of San Andreas’ inevitable arrival on Xbox and PC, more Rockstar news has emerged concerning other games on the companies release list.

The Warriors – a title based on the 1979 movie of the same name, and a strangely elusive number that has been seen by few to none – has slipped to a rather vague April-to-June release date. We think more people would actually care if it weren’t for the fact that nobody knows anything about the game. At all.

The actual known and shown Midnight Club 3: Dub Edition has also been put back to later in the year, with the just as vague ‘first quarter’ being touted as the release date.

The two release slippages were mentioned in a Rockstar financial report, along with a couple of interesting tidbits. These particular nuggets are purely speculative though, thanks to the indefinite wording of the report – as it says:

“Additional products planned for fiscal 2005 from Rockstar include a new console title based on a proven brand from Rockstar’s internal studios and titles based on two of Rockstar’s premier brands for Sony’s highly anticipated PlayStation Portable platform.”

GTA:PSP? Manhunt 2? Read Dead Revolver: This Time It’s A John Wayne Rip-off? Max Payne 3: Isn’t Bullet-Time Out Of Fashion Now?

Speculation and rumour aside, it frankly has to be one of the above titles (most likely with different names to those suggested) – Rockstar could help make another interesting year in gaming.
