Red Dead Redemption 2 will receive at least one special edition, Rockstar Games has announced on its official newswire.
The Grand Theft Auto developer promised more details on the presumably content-rich special editions (yes, it's looking like we'll get more than one) will drop next month alongside a bunch of new game info. Next month just so happens to be E3, so perhaps we'll have a rare on-stage presence by Rockstar where it'll share some new details on its cowboy sequel.
Red Dead Redemption has lassoed a (hopefully final) release date of October 26 on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, after being delayed twice already. Rockstar treated us to a new trailer last week, which showed a bunch of cowboys doing cowboy-related things but still no proper gameplay.
Set in the year 1899 during the dying days of the American Old West, Red Dead 2 focuses on Arthur Morgan and the rest of the Dutch Van der Linde crew as they attempt to stay one step ahead of the local plod after a bank job goes south. There's side quests, an open-world, and the return of the honor system; so far, so Red Dead, then.
