Rockstar Games co-founder Dan Houser has revealed during a chat with Vulture that development of Red Dead Redemption 2 has seen the team putting in '100-hour weeks.'

Unsurprisingly, Houser said that in comparison to previous Rockstar titles, Red Dead Redemption 2 ranked as 'the hardest' yet. 'We were working 100-hour weeks' multiple times this year, he revealed.

'We've poured everything we have into [Red Dead Redemption 2]. We have really pushed ourselves as hard as we can,' added Sam Houser.

Red Dead Redemption 2 is out on October 26 for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, although it's been a long time coming. The game has been in the works for around seven years, with Dan Houser originally entering talks with Rockstar San Diego about a potential follow-up to Red Dead Redemption back in 2011.

Dan also revealed a bunch of interesting stats about the game in the same interview, including how long Red Dead 2 will take players to finish, as well as details on its script and its extensive use of animations.
