The Russian release of RIFT has been “very smooth” according to the game’s live producer Hal Hanlin.
Speaking to fansite Magelo, Hanlin credited Trion Worlds’ Russian partner GFI with the game’s launch, adding that improvements will continue to roll out quickly.
The next patch, Warriors, will see a buff to their DPS as part of a tweak to attack power.
Additionally he emphasises that “soloable content is very important to us”, using the success of Instant Adventures and the Chronicles of Telara as evidence of Trion’s response to user requests for more group-less play.
This follows in line with statements made by Trion Worlds head Scott Hartsman who also adds PvP changes to the list of improvements the game will see this year.
