Trion Worlds has been running RIFT’s patch 1.4 on test servers for the last few weeks, and the studio has finally detailed what the patch will include.
The “Legacy of the Fallen” patch will feature a new epic quest line, as well as a 10-man instance relating to the threat of the Abyssal.
The quest line, named the Water Saga, is said to reveal the truth about the Abyssal cult’s origin, and give players the opportunity to pick up a special crocnard mount.
Additionally the Drowned Halls 10-man instance will show an alternative view of history in which the Abyssal have conquered Telara.
The patch will also include additional open world PvP rifts, and eight new crafted item sets for dungeon and raid players.
No official date has been released for the Patch.
