With RIFT’s upcoming patch 1.8 on the horizon, changes to the MMO’s queued reward system have been detailed.

Writing on the official forums, community manager James Nichols explained that while previously users were able to receive loot and XP by manually pressing a button after performing reward-giving activities, many players were keeping these reward queues for a single big payout of XP.

Now however, there will be a limit to how many rewards users will be able to keep queued, and while rewards that include numerous item options will queue, others will be given automatically.

Nichols advises users to claim all currently pending rewards before the advent of the patch, as they may not have he ability to post-patch 1.8.

Trion Worlds also recently introduced a lowered subscription fee, featuring an annual cost of $4.92 per month.
