The newest update to Rift has been detailed on the official Trion Worlds website.
The Ashes of History patch features additional dungeons and quests, including the newest solo and duo-group quest Chronicles. This will let players play through new versions of both Hammerknell and Greenscale’s Blight raid dungeons.
Included in the patch is a new PvP Warfront set to take place in the Hammerknell Library of Runemasters, an elite Master Dungeon mode for Darkening Deeps, and a Planar attunement feature letting players advance beyond level 50.
New Veteran awards will be offered, as well as a mod-driven AddOns system.
Additionally, a new World Event is available. Players will repair the ancient Travel Stones and battle against dragons attacking Telara.
Rift is currently planning on expanding to more devices to allow users to continue to be involved in Rift when away from their desks.
