After the misstep that was Ridge Racer Unbounded, Namco Bandai’s arcade racing series returns on December 19 with the release of Ridge Racer Slipstream for iOS and Android.
The game comes as the franchise celebrates its 20th year.
Players will be able to take part in Career and Arcade modes, with multiplayer promised post-launch. There’s 10 tracks to race around, which are reversed to create an additional 10.
You’ll also be able to tinker around with your rides, customising colours, rims, body kits and decals.
And it’s all running on a bespoke game engine for mobile devices.
