Kotaku reports that court documents have surfaced revealing that Richard Garriott, creator of Ultima and the failed Tabula Rasa, is suing NCsoft for $24 million.

The suit was filed in the Texas Western District Court, with Garriott accusing NCsoft of fraud.

Garriott split from NCsoft last year, which at the time seemed like an amicable separation with the video game creator looking for a new challenge outside of the video game industry – like going into space.
