Nine Inch Nails frontman Trent Reznor, a long-time id software contributor, has revealed he’s unlikely to be involved with Doom 4.

Reznor worked with id to provide the music for Quake back in 1996 and was hired as an audio engineer on Doom 3, but id chose not to use his work in the final game.

Posting on the official site for his new band ‘How to Destroy Angels’, Reznor said: “I haven’t been contacted by them [id Software] and find it unlikely that I would have time at this point.”
