If you head over to the official PlayStation blog you’ll find a brief three minute video walkthrough of the upcoming revamped PlayStation Store, set to go live with firmware update 2.30.
Grace Chen, senior manager of the PlayStation Store, runs through some of the most notable changes to the store, including the new preview function – offering screens and videos of games – plus highlights that the new store will be much faster and easier to use than the old one.
Sony hasn’t confirmed when the new store will go live, but the next firmware update has been confirmed for April 15, so we presume the new store will go live at the same time.
