The Doom movie was probably enough to put many fans off the game for life, but this hasn’t prevented another of id’s classic IPs from getting the movie treatment. Variety reports that the software developer’s Wolfenstein franchise is being adapted into a feature film.
We’re not sure if this is good or bad news, but Variety reports that Roger Avery and Samuel Hadida, writer and producer of the Silent Hill movie, have joined forces once again to work on the new movie. Avery will also direct.
The film will follow B.J. Blazkowicz and his troops as they investigate Nazi experiments with the paranormal.
